Produced by David Beckham’s Studio 99 and directed by Sam Blair, known for “Maradona ’86,” the film provides an in-depth exploration of O’Sullivan’s life and career. It delves into his personal struggles, the pressures accompanying his success, and his journey to becoming one of snooker’s greatest players. The documentary features previously unseen family footage and interviews with close family, friends, and competitors, including artist Damien Hirst, musician Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, and snooker legends Jimmy White and Stephen Hendry.
The film had an exclusive cinematic release in the UK on November 21, 2023, accompanied by a live Q&A session with O’Sullivan and executive producer David Beckham. It became available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on November 23, 2023.
