In April 2024, Roczen suffered significant injuries during the Nashville Supercross round. While contending for the lead in the 450SX main event, a rear shock failure on his Suzuki RM-Z450 led to a crash in the whoop section. This incident resulted in fractures to his left leg and foot, specifically a broken tibia plateau, foot, and toe. Although no surgery was required, these injuries sidelined him for the remainder of the 2024 Supercross season .
