Amarillo Partners with BISSELL Pet Foundation and Texas Tech Vet School for Free Dog Vaccine Clinic
AMARILLO, Texas — The City of Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare (AAMW) is teaming up with the BISSELL Pet Foundation and the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine to host a free dog vaccine clinic this Saturday, April 26. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot, located at 401 S. Grant St.
This collaborative effort aims to provide essential vaccinations to dogs in the community, ensuring their health and well-being. The clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and all dogs must be leashed at all times. While bringing shot records is encouraged for those seeking booster shots, it is not mandatory for participation.
The BISSELL Pet Foundation, known for its commitment to animal welfare, joins forces with Texas Tech’s veterinary school to offer this vital service. Their partnership reflects a shared dedication to improving the lives of pets and their owners in the Amarillo area.
For more information about the clinic, residents can contact AAMW at (806) 378-9032. This event represents a significant step in promoting public health and responsible pet ownership within the community.
