JUST IN;’ Cowboys Trevon Diggs makes a scathing remark about the NY Giants’ new throwback Jersey…
Even before the season starts, this strengthens the animosity between the NFC East teams.
Trevon Diggs, get your shots in while you can. The New York Giants just unveiled the alternate jerseys they will don in 2024 to commemorate the team’s 100th anniversary. Let’s just say that even though the jerseys have a very significant history, fans weren’t happy with how the finished product looked.
Regretfully, the Giants’ social media crew has had to endure a great deal of criticism because most people find them to be ugly. Ask Diggs about that, please. The standout Cowboys cornerback didn’t take long to express his opinions to everyone about the new gear once it was released.
Trevon Diggs bashing the NY Giants throwback uniforms has people talking.
Diggs’s ‘Eww’ says it all when it comes to his feelings. Alright, we understand. Many Giants fans, meanwhile, are now counting down the days until Week 4 of the 2024 season arrives because of Diggs’ insensitive response.
That Thursday, the Giants will play Dallas at MetLife Stadium in a primetime game on Thursday Night Football. In his two seasons as head coach of the Giants, Brian Daboll is 0-4 versus Dallas, but come on, something has to happen there soon, right? If the Giants could silence Diggs early in the season, that would be very sweet.
Furthermore, can you picture the Giants dressing in their vintage uniforms to mock Diggs and the other Dallas haters? If Daniel Jones lights up the box score and tosses for three touchdowns against Diggs and the Dallas secondary that evening, things will become quite special.
Dallas has dominated New York in recent years, as evidenced by the disastrous 40-0 loss at East Rutherford to start the season last autumn. The Giants want to move as quickly as possible to put that awful memory behind them. Let’s hope that in Week 4, Jones and the NY offense put on a fantastic display, and Diggs has a night to remember.
